*I keep trying to use the phrase “em meados de…” in situations like this. I’ve come across it in the context of history where it’s used to describe (in a very vague way) the middle of a period, like you might say the second world war tool place in the middle of the twentieth century say. You can also use it to describe the mid part of a book, so using it here to describe her being in the middle of her exam period was a bit off. Here’s the priberam entry for meado. I could also have used “em pleno época de exames”.
