Tenho de felicitar George Saunders por ter vencido o prémio Man Booker com o seu livro “Lincoln in the Bardo”. 
Tento recordar outra vez em que já tivesse lido o vencedor do Man Booker Prize antes do resultado ter sido anunciado mas penso que esta é a única. E que livro maravilhoso que é! O seu estilo é único e as emoções transmitidas encheram-me de assombro, espanto e tristeza. Mereceu mesmo o prémio.
Quando o* recebeu, o autor deu um discurso que tinha a ver com as políticas americanas e o significado da cultura. O discurso foi curto mas poderoso. Não o* posso elogiar o suficiente. Parabéns ao Senhor Saunders!
