Na perseguição do seu objetivo* de ver todos os filmes e de ler todos os livros mencionados por Reece Shearsmith, a minha filha insistiu em nós vermos um filme sueco intitulado Haxan (“A Feiticeira”). O filme é muito antigo, tendo sido feito em 1922, mas foi restaurado. Por isso, tem uma imagem muito nítida: é a branco e preto, mas com um tom amareldado. Claro que não há diálogo, exceto as várias linhas escritas, intercaladas entre as cenas.
*it was suggested that “na demanda de ver” would be more idiomatic, I’m struggling with this because the word “demanda” mostly means “demand” and she wasn’t demanding anything. In fact, if you look at the alternative meanings, it can also mean “action of searching” (2) or “enterprise, intent, design” which actually sounds abiut right. So if you’re braver than me, you could try using demanda in this context, but it hurts my brain to write it like that.
