There’s a woman on Twitter who is always mentioning “Padroeiros e eiras do dia” – the patron saints. She typically names various followers of hers who share a name with whichever Saint is celebrating their saint’s day. Since my twitter alter ego is Pedro, and the Catholic Church seems about 890 St Peters I get a shout out quite often. I’m not Catholic but I quite like it. People being brought together by sharing a name.
